Chicago: Dog Friendly Destination

Chicago, the perfect place for all dog lovers. Due to its "Dog Friendly Areas" program and initiative , the city has 18 ideal areas and parks to enjoy those game evenings with your best dog friend.
To be able to enter all these areas, it is mandatory to request a permit and an identification plate for your dog. The permit and the plate are obtained in any of the veterinary clinics associated with "Chicago Land Veterinaty Offices" . Also, you must have your vaccination and deworming card in order.
Among the favorite areas of life "Dog Friendly", there are fully adequate and perfect parks to enjoy with your dog. Next, we tell you some of the favorites:
- Fred Anderson Park , one of the biggest. The park is separated into two areas; one for small breed dogs and one for large breed dogs. The place has green areas, games and small pools for dogs.
- Noethling Dog Park (Wiggly Field) , is a totally paved space, but still has all the amenities for your dog to enjoy an afternoon outdoors.
- Wiggly Field, Lincoln Park, is the favorite to socialize, that's right! Visitors consider it one of the best for your dog to socialize perfectly with other dogs and you with the owners of each one.
- Mary Bartelme Park, is not totally dog friendly but is one of the most incredible views of Chicago. The park has green areas and spaces suitable for your dog.
On the other hand, there are 3 beaches in the city with areas designated for dogs: Belmont Harbor, Evanston and Montrose. The dog area in Montrose Beach is one of the best and is located on Lake Michigan.
